Crossfit: The sport of sport. Functional Fitness. A kick in the backside of traditional training (and the participants). This is a record of our exploits. . .
Trying to start a zone-type diet today. Reread CFJ#21 and the Zone book. The challenge is doing a paleo-type zone with crappy chow hall food, and without being able to weigh or measure anything. I have to go by eyesight. Since I'm a big boy, I'm doing a 5-4-5-4-5 plan. We'll see how it goes. I'll weigh myself tomorrow to see where I'm starting.
Now that my boards are out of the way, I'm going to read "Enter the Zone" and give it 2 weeks, just like Nicole wrote in the CFJ article "Getting off the crack." It's gonna be tough. Alan and I are also going to start mixing in some Mountain Athlete training session in order to get in "Mountaineering" shape for May. BTW Paul, check your email. . .
