Rest Day

4 days in to Zone, and I gained a pound (246#). Probably had to take a crap.

Day 2 of POSE experiment. On treadmill, focused on form. 10 1min repeats (1min on, 1min off)
1-6.7mph (~9min mile)
2-7.1 (~8:30)
3-7.5 (8:00)
4-8 (7:30)
5-8.6 (~7:00)
6-8.7 (~6:53)
7-8.8 (~6:50)
8-8.9 (~6:45)
9-9.0 (~6:40)
10-9.3 (~6:30)

Observations:
1) Hit 90 steps per minute at round 5, and was still at 92 at round 10. It's amazing how fast you run at a 90 step cadence
2) Breathing wasn't that hard. Normally, I'm doubled over after a hard push. This time (even at 6:30) I moved right into a stroll.
3) A little tightness around hamstrings and calves, but not bad. Much better than after a normal run.

Not much data so far, but working on the POSE-type form seems to be helping.

In 2 days, I'm going to start working some 400m intervals into the mix. Looking at
