First time running outside in over a year! (except for two interval runs)
Ran a 2.2mi loop. Hit 1.1mi in 9:50, and then mainly walked back. Out pace was right at 9min/mi and felt disturbingly easy except for the three things:
1) running in KW is like running through soup. After 10min, I felt like I was running in an oven.
2) there is a disturbing number of remarkably attractive but barely dressed females here
3) I was literally cock-blocked. That's right, a rooster jumped out into my path while I was running.
Walked back due to aforementioned broiler effect. Will try again in a few days.
Best note: back feels about 90%better--just some stiffness. Should start CFing again on next cycle.
Regarding Rob's rant about taxes a few months ago:
I did my taxes today, and guess how much I paid; $0. Taking into account the $1200 "stimulus" last year, the government actually paid me. Since Rob pays a ton in taxes, I say "thanks Rob!"
Seriously, though, with a $1T stimulus package in the works and people not paying taxes, how long until our government won't have enough credit to pay for everything it wants? I'm guessing this will happen like the dot coms and housing; people will ignore the problem for months or years or decades and then the entire mess will collapse. That's why I have all my savings in beanie babies.
You're welcome Paul, Glad I could serve you. . .
Anyhow, did the MA WOD with mods. No heavy bag and after 2 rounds of dragging the heavy bag with a rope it wore through the outer bag leaving my backpack exposed so I canned it. Time to buy a cheap duffle and fill it with pellets and find a tire. . .
The curtis P's were tough. I used 95 lbs since it was my finishing Barbell Complex weight. Rough. I takes about 12 seconds to complete and then rest for 16-18, but thats still almost not enough towards the end. It's a nice metabolic burn. Try it!
