Crossfit: The sport of sport. Functional Fitness. A kick in the backside of traditional training (and the participants). This is a record of our exploits. . .
I'm still dying of the plague, and I generally dislike anything that has double-unders in it, so I ran instead.
4x400 (2min rest between rounds) at 9.0, 9.1, 9.1 and 9.3mph. Despite head and chest congestion, it felt pretty good. Whenever I start to get winded or my legs start to hurt, I focus on good form and am able to push through. Next time, I think I'll try 1x800 and 4x400.
Not sure if this was for time but I did it against the clock anyways. My doubleunders are magical (as I already txted Rob). I found the rhythm and now its cake. My 30 set was all in a row but Rep 30. Yay, for this!
Wow, I did it!! Pukie reared his ugly head in the set of 40 after about 30 of the double unders. What a huge metabolic demand. Like Alan, I'm finally really beginning to get these down. My limiting factor is endurance. These really kick me in the ass my in the best of ways.
Total time: 15:00.30 Couldn't have timed that better if I tried.
Situps were with feet anchored but on the abmat. Another thing that I noticed is that I can't breath on the damn mat. The hyperextension limits your ability to fully expand the chest. Didn't even notice until I was sucking air at the end. Once finished, I flopped off of the mat and was able to breath again. Just an interesting aside.

ya I did my situps straight legged and breathing was easier though the double unders do you more than you'd think!
