Five rounds for time of:
50 pound dumbbell, walking lunge, 10 alternating steps
50 pound dumbbell, swing, 15 reps
Per Coach:
10 steps total, 1 dumbbell only. Carry it as able (overhead for those tough enough). Use the same bell for swings.

Not sure if it called for 10 lunges total or 10 each leg, so I did 10 each leg.
Man, that workout was brutal on the lower back / butt.
About 2hrs later, I attempted to work on running. Goal was 4x400 at sub-7:00 pace. Unfortunately, I didn't leave enough recovery time. My legs felt like jello and my lungs were burning before I started. Ended up doing 6 cycles of run 300m / walk 100m at 6:44-6:58 pace. It felt like I would have been able to hit my goal if I hadn't done the earlier workout. I'll try again in 2 days.
Well, it's snowing and the geniuses who figure out how to care for the roads have yet to even come out and play. People are driving at 5 mph down the highway. . .It's going to be a lovely commute to work. Anyhow, just back from the gym. I did this as rx'd with the dumbbell in the rack position.
Time: 6:44.49
Took about a 40 second break after round 3 to run down the hall and grab chalk as the dumbbell was getting a little moist and slippery. This is another of those deceptively "easy" looking workouts which left me in a pile of mush on the floor after 5 rounds.
