Complete as many rounds in 20 minutes as you can of:


Run 400 meters
Max rep Pull-ups

Wow, 2 days in a row with the first post. Hoo Rah! I subbed rowing for running (Still snowing out and no treadmill at home) Since I don't have a computer on the erg, I set the watch for 1:50. My 500m time is usually around 1:30-1:42 so I figured a 10 second penalty would be fine.

Rowing laps: 7 plus 20 seconds
Pull-ups: 10-6-9-10-9-12-12: total 68

I can't remember how many pullups I did in the last round of doing this but it wasn't as many. As an aside, pullups plus rowing is rough. Taxing the same muscles with no recovery!

So I meant to do the workout as prescribed, but went running with Scott instead and then did pull ups, handstand push ups, GHD sit ups, and squats instead.

Since I'm traveling, I'm not sleeping in my own bed. Therefore, I spent the whole day with a kink in my neck the size of Manhattan. 4 Pullups were about all I could manage. I took advantage of the nice squat racks and did:

Backsquat 5x5
225-275-285-295-neck too sore to continue.

Good workout; with a really good squat rack, I'm more comfortable going into a full squat. No problems at all with ROM.
