Al's Clean

Great Work! Only critique I have is that you caught it WAY high; more of a powerclean-front squat than a squat clean. See the pic below--it was frozen right as you made the third pull. Great strength, power, explosiveness, etc. The first pull looked great. You had a ton of explosiveness on the second pull, which let you get the weight up extremely high. The pic above shows your jump / second pull; great work!

Al, look at some of Burgeners technique videos on the main page. If I'm looking at it right, you're pulling too early with the arms. The frozen picture shows it well. You need to open up those hips boy!! Also, as already mentioned, you caught it too high. Work on this technique and it'll be 250 next time.

Good point Rob; I don't think the hips were fully into that lift. In this case, the strong first pull coupled with much explosion compensated for that.
