95, 115, 135, 155, 165, 175, 185

Finisher...

3 rounds (not for time, but the mental clock was ticking) of:

5 Deadlifts @ 175
10 burpees
12 knees to elbows.

Figured I hadn't done any of those in a while and I wanted to brush up on technique, feel, etc.

135-145-155-165(fail)-165(fail)-160-160(fail)

Tough workout but good stuff. I'm on nights this week so today is my "day" so to speak. I was soooo close to locking out the 165 but couldn't press the last few inches and dropped it. Front squats are really coming along though. Looking forward to the next ME for front squats.

Finished with a bunch of skills: ring support, ring dip, double unders, and box jumps. Managed to put 3 plates on the 24 inch box and land it-total height of 35.5 inches. It really does open up the hips! I can use all the practice I can get.

The games truly were inspiring. Gets harder every year and this year punished the specialists for sure. Poor Speal was knocked out early for lack of strength and Everett was knocked out in the met cons despite being one of the strongest people there!
