Ouch.

Scaled this to 135lbs. Then scaled again to 3 sets. Deadlifts were a piece of cake. Hang Power cleans were a little tougher, and then the push jerks. . . Lots of rest for the wrists in between. Total time was just over 12 minutes (12:21 I think but I'll post the official later).

Despite the pain, this really is a fun workout. I look forward to progressing and working up to the Rx'd version.

5 rounds scaled to 135lbs.

Total Time 19:00

Push jerks weren't as bad as I thought they may have been. I rested quickly between each movement...having been "on vacation" for the last week or so it seems, I needed to phase in slowly. Glad to be back!

Also hiked for 40 minutes with the 50lb. pack of birdseed. Just in town though, so no elevation today.

Awesome workout; looks like fun.

I'm going with whatever the affiliates are doing here. There are 5 affiliates in CO Springs:

Max Performance no longer does CF

CF Aspire has the best facility and location, but the coach rubbed me the wrong way and charges 2x what everyone else charges.

CF CO Springs has the best coach I've met and runs it out of his garage. No idea on price and I didn't meet any of the other athletes. Location is OK.

Pikes Peak CF has a cool little facility and good people, with reasonable prices, but hours that won't work well for me.

CF SoCOS has a good people and coach, the smallest facility, the lowest rates, and is furthest away.

I'm not sure with whom I'll train. Leaning toward SoCOS unless Pikes Peak starts offering an early-morning class or COS offers really low rates.
