WOD 7.6.09

Rest Day

Or

10 rounds for time of
10 push ups
10 kettlebell swings

Or

Run 2 miles at 90% Race pace or best time at distance

BTW, I was looking for socks to protect my shins from getting rubbed raw during deadlifts and oly lifts. Swiftwick makes a nice sock that come up to just beneath the knee as seen in the photos the other day.

Rob, how is it @ 90% RPE? RPE is a scale from 6 to 20 (or sometimes seen from 1 to 10). It is used to measure "how hard you feel you are working" at a given intensity. Very difficult to say you will run at 90% of RPE. Did you mean Vo2 max?

I did a run, not necessarily but major choice but b/c Scott and Ashely convinced me. 6.5 miles in 51:24. Fun in the sun even though I was feeling shitty the 1st 30 minutes.

Alan, are you becoming a running specialist?? Tisk tisk. . .

no not at all. I am just running more in addition to CrossFitting. I still am very slack in being a competitive runner compared to Scott and Ashely who by nature are pure runners. I just enjoy getting out on the trail in the lovely summer weather. Plus, it's helping me get trimmed up :)

I haven't missed a WOD yet.
