Crossfit Main

Five rounds for time of:

135 pound Hang squat clean, 15 reps
30 Push-ups

Crossfit MEBB

Hang Power Snatch

3-3-3-1-1-1

About 7 minutes and 40 some seconds. Getting ready for my race Saturday...no WOD Friday!

Good to see you guys back in the saddle so to speak. It was getting lonely here at the ranch. . .

I think the MEBB trial is coming to an end. I miss the comparison with you guys in regular crossfit land. I'm also anxious to see if I've made some strength gains over the past couple weeks although the vacation and conferences have likely limited those gains slightly.

Anyhow, for this workout:

Noticed something at the end. To "hang" snatch, if you can get the bar down to the knees, you can generate a boatload more power than if you midthigh hang which is what I've been doing. So much technique. . .

My heinously sprained ankle kept me from doing this one. Tried one round of pushups and front squats. Of all things, the pushups hurt the ankle most. Finished with 4rds of 15 pullups and 15 dips. All this was after a day of climbing, so I think that probably contributed to the ankle pain...
